Perspectives on electoral systems, constitutional design, and policy around the world, based primarily on my research interests. The synagogue in old town Riga is really beautiful.  It has been fully restored within the past year. Amazingly, it survived the Nazi occupation and remained in use throughout the Soviet occupation.
