The void is about to end. Today is the start of the Caribbean Series. The games are available in video streams at MLB.com. And to think that I was under the illusion that I might get some work done this afternoon.
Even better, pitchers and catchers report to Florida and Arizona in less than two weeks!!

There is no void, F&V. Baseball is a year round sport. There’s the Arizona Fall League and then the Winter Leagues in the Caribbean countries. The Caribbean Series is the end of the season for the Winter leagues, and as soon as a champion is crowned, the US and Canadian spring camps will open. Baseball is truly a year-round sport.

True, the only real void is in media coverage. Fortunately, the Internet has helped immensely with that. Still, you have to watch the Caribbean Series on this tiny, jerky MLB Media Player. But it’s baseball in February. You can’t beat that!
