The ‘Red Baron’ got a bit carried away. Always a late, prolific, and spectacular bloomer, this peach tree has a truly ridiculous fruit set this year, and is leafing out really slowly.

Immediately after taking this photo, I thinned the fruit–heavily.
The ‘Thomson’ mango has also set heavily.

Deaths in the orchard
It will not look like this again. Ever. I can now confirm that this tree was killed by the freeze five weeks ago.
